Players Who Did Not Purchase Epic Riding Skill Will Have it Removed – The Burning Crusade Anniversary

Recently, some players discovered that purchasing an Epic mount automatically granted them Epic Riding Skill after the weekly reset. Blizzard has identified this as a bug and will be removing the Epic Riding skill from players who did not purchase it.

TBC Classic Pre-Patch Overview

Earlier this week, we identified a bug in the Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary pre-patch which incorrectly granted the 150 Epic riding skill to some player-characters.

Purchasing Journeyman Riding is an important milestone in each character’s journey, and this milestone deserves to be preserved. To address this, we will remove the incorrectly-granted riding skill from player-characters who were identified as affected by this bug, and we’ll revert their riding skill to 75.

The fix-up will occur during scheduled weekly maintenance on February 3.

Until then, for affected players: enjoy the next few days racing around Azeroth!
