Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred Expansion Overview
New Reveals from the Launch Trailer
The biggest reveal we got from the trailer is an extended view of the Skill Tree changes, with Druid trees getting a special look. Druid has some especially interesting additions, which look like passive skills!
There seems to be old passive skills on the left and right of the wheel, and more connected nodes
Contrast that to the originally revealed Mage skill tree below, which only showcased extended customization and augments to skills, rather than passives on their own. Additionally, you can see that the Druid skills have fewer branches coming off of them compared to the mage trees.
Much more rigid structure to the skills, fewer offshoots
On a later look at the Druid tree from the trailer, the Ultimate branch looks more similar to previous reveals, but with a twist. It seems the druid trees have their own special fork, depending on the stance, with symbols showing a werewolf, a human, and a bear. It will be interesting to see how many differences there are between the classes and their respective trees, considering they do not seem to be homogenous.
