The Bug in question allowed players to spawn an infinite number of Unstable Flask of the Beast, which could be listed on the Auction House or sold to a vendor for gold. Because of this, Blizzard disabled the quest for a short period of time.

Ogri’la Bugged Quest Fixed on Burning Crusade Classic
Blizzard has implemented a fix to the Ogri'la pre-requisite quest "Our Boy Wants To Be A Skyguard Ranger", which was previously disabled. Players can now complete the quest and access the Ogri'la Daily Quest Hub.
