Bonus Roll Hotfix Applied Early: No More Loot from Locked Bosses

Blizzard previously announced a change to Bonus Rolls coming with the Weekly Reset, but that change now appears to be live early.

Many players picked up a Nebulous Voidcore (aka Bonus Roll) this week from the Great Vault to coin either Heroic Coiled Altar or Heroic Ula'tek. Heroic bosses drop Myth 1/6 pieces, and some of these items are extremely powerful, such as Jan'thrazet, the Soul Fang.

Yesterday, Blizzard announced that players would not be able to Bonus Roll raid bosses that they've already defeated this week. This was announced to go live with the Weekly Reset, but there have been multiple reports from players and content creators (including from Dratnos) that this change is already live, and players no longer have the option of Bonus Rolling bosses that they have already defeated. This contradicts the timeline Blizzard laid out, and if it isn't a bug, this might put a severe damper on many players' weekend plans.

This change means that you can no longer save up all your Bonus Rolls until you defeat Heroic Ula'tek and then use them all that week. It will always take 3 (or 4, depending on your spec) weeks to acquire your items from Ula'tek. If, for whatever reason, you already killed Heroic Ula'tek this week and forgot your coin, you're already going to be a week behind.
