The Coiled Isle Zone Guide
Dragonflight introduced two new World Quests to World of Warcraft: Dragon Racing and Rock Climbing. While these World Quests continued into War Within, some players were surprised that it didn't seem like they made the cut to come back in Midnight Season 1.
Now, with the release of Patch 12.1, it looks like at least one of those styles of world quest has made a return. The Coiled Isle contains a new World Quest called Slithering Heights, which returns rock climbing fun to World of Warcraft for those who enjoyed it! There aren't any special rewards or achievements tied to these, unlike Hanging Tight from The War Within, so this is pure enjoyment. Don't feel the need to seek out this quest unless you, like many others, just really liked it!
Unfortunately, there's no word on new Skyriding World Quests, so we'll just have to see if they return in a future patch.
