Ritual Sites in Patch 12.0.7 Feature More Difficulty and Rewards

Ritual Sites are getting an update in Patch 12.0.7, with a new tier requiring more challenges for greater rewards!

More Myth Crests
In addition to recieving more Field Accolades, Coffer Key Shards, and Voidlight Marl, completing Ritual Sites on the new sixth tier of difficulty will now award Myth Dawncrests with no lockout, making it an excellent farm for small groups and solo players.

Six challenges may be a little daunting, though the Ritual Site itself isn't otherwise different from the previous tier, which means players in higher gear should not find it overly difficult. Recommended for item level 270, those who are using Bonus Rolls each week should quickly find themselves close to or exceeding that level, while those who aren't can still group up to make the activity a little more manageable.

In addition to the normal rewards, players will also earn a small amount of Myth Dawncrest.

Extra Bonus Rolls, Title, and Achievements
Speaking of bonus rolls, there's also a new multi-stage Ritual Site Studies: Week 1 of 3 questline, with the related Advanced Ritual Site Studies achievement, which give players a way to earn an extra Nebulous Voidcore each week. If that's not enough incentive, Pinnacle Ritual Work also awards the Ritual Breaker title for completing Tier 6 Ritual Sites with all eight challenges active before the conclusion of the Midnight expansion.

The new quest giver is conveniently located at the entrance to each Ritual Site.

Based on our testing so far, the only thing that isn't different is the Great Vault rewards. Tier 6 Ritual Sites are still considered a "Tier 13" activity awarding item level 269 (4/6 Heroic). This still seems to be the highest item level obtainable from open world content, though the addition of more crests and bonus rolls should help more players move into higher content faster.
