As a result of these nerfs, Tank Druids began struggling to hold threat. This led to even more Class tuning changes, to reduce the burst potential of Guardian Druids while also allowing them to generate and maintain threat more consistently.

Developers’ notes: Guardian Druids have continued to overperform in single target contexts, while experiencing difficulties with threat and sustained damage outside of cooldowns. With these changes, we’re aiming to reduce burst potential and transfer some of that power into more reliable and consistent abilities to aid in generating and maintaining threat.
Wild Guardian echo effectiveness reduced to 200% (was 300%).
Red Moon damage reduced by 20%.
Maul damage reduced by 15%.
Raze damage reduced by 15%.
Ravage damage reduced by 15%.
Thrash direct damage increased by 200%.
Thrash bleed damage increased by 100%.
Perhaps coincidentally, after the recent class changes to Guardian Druids, a group comprised of 5 Bear Tanks has just timed a +20 Windrunner Spire.
While there are additional Tank Tuning Changes that will go live as a part of tomorrow's Weekly maintenance, these changes will primarily focus on increasing the passive mitigation of Blood Death Knight, Vengeance Demon Hunters, Protection Paladins, and Protection Warriors.
The fact that a group comprised of 5 Tanks can time a +20 Mythic dungeon is shocking. While Tanks have traditionally been some of the most overpowered Specializations for solo content, it is concerning that something like this could even be possible at the highest levels of end-game group content. Should a group that doesn't include any DPS classes be able to overcome a DPS check?
