Blizzard has now removed the group from the Chimaerus Hall of Fame.
Funny for a day, though quickly removed from memory.
Now calling themselves RAoV QA Strikes Back, the group similarly exploited their way to a "World First" Mythic Gallywix in Liberation of Undermine, though Blizzard quickly invalidated the victory and removed the group from their leaderboards. If defeating the last boss of the raid only minutes after defeating the first boss wasn't a dead giveaway that something was off, their undersized group and lack of gear certainly should have been. There's no question this is the result of exploitation, rather than legitimate gameplay.
Yeah, that seems legit.
The group also have a habit of naming themselves after better known players, guilds, and those who have called out their exploits, including Team Liquid, Rextroy, Xephyris, Kaivax, and so on, though there is obviously no relation. Even their guild name is coopted from the early hack and exploit group Random Acts of Violation, which shut down after Blizzard Entertainment issued a Cease and Desist letter in 2018.
The original group whose name has been coopted.
This false achievement will also be invalidated sooner rather than later, though the group will undoubtedly pop up again. It's seemed surprisingly difficult for Blizzard to actually stop, routinely coming back despite their efforts to combat the issue. At least the group is relatively harmless though, providing a quick laugh and distraction, quickly forgotten for the rest of the tier.
