In today's Developer Update, Blizzard announced that they will be reducing the cost of racial mounts in Season of Discovery by half, starting the week of March 5. This was also the price of mounts during Season of Mastery and Blizzard previously changed that right before Phase 2's launch, to the community's dismay. Starting next week, it looks like that mount cost reduction will be reintroduced!
