Buy These Items From the Auction House Now For Easy Quest Leveling During the TBC Pre-Patch

With The Burning Crusade pre-patch set to arrive on January 13th, so too will two new races: Draenei for Alliance and Blood Elf for the Horde. This will allow players of each faction to level up the previously Horde-only Shaman or Alliance-only Paladin, or another race/class combination they enjoy playing. As of now, the Outland Epic Pack, which includes a Level 58 character boost, does not allow you to use said level boost on a Draenei or Blood Elf.

Burning Crusade Leveling Guide

Thus, on January 13th, players will be tasked with starting from Level 1—whether that's a Blood Elf/Draenei, or leveling another character from scratch unless you plan to use a level boost on a non-Blood Elf or Draenei—and may seek to hit 60 before The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary properly arrives.

To help make that leveling journey more efficient, below is a guide of every quest that can be instantly completed with items that you can prepare now on your main characters. None of these quests will require any pre-requisite quest turn-ins beyond simple dialogue with an NPC. That said, we have provided a few alternative quests that can be completed by reaching a certain reputation level or by completing another nearby task.

How to Prepare

To prepare, simply acquire the items found throughout this guide. This can be done by purchasing them from the Auction House on your main character(s) or by crafting them where appropriate.

TBC Pre-Patch Overview

Here are some other tips that could help make this process easier, but aren't necessary:

Have gold prepared to help purchase portals from a Mage to get to each major city or have a guild member assist.

Have bags prepared to help hold these items.

Create bank alts to help store items until you need them.

Ensure you have gold ready to purchase a mount at the appropriate level and time.

Be sure to collect all flight paths while leveling for easier travel when it's time to turn quests in.
