Decor Duels Marred By Track Humanoids Exploit

As a part of Patch 12.0.5, Blizzard introduced a fun new Prop Hunt-like game, called Decor Duels. While this new non-lethal PvP activity was meant to create some light-hearted fun and allow players to earn some new collectibles, players have already found ways to exploit this new game mode.

Decor Duel Objectives, Kits, and Rewards

One thing that Blizzard forgot to remove from this game mode was players' abilities to Track Humanoids. When a Seeker is searching for a member of the opposing team, using the Hunter ability Track Humanoids or consuming a Blackened Worg Steak on any Class makes this game mode trivial for the Seekers, and allows Hiders to avoid their enemies.

Both Track Humanoids and the Well Fed buff remain active during Decor Duels.

This clearly appears to be an oversight on Blizzard's part, as gaining a way to track opponents during a game of Hide-and-Seek defeats the purpose of the entire activity.

While we weren't able to verify directly, players have also reported that they have been penalized for hiding too well. There have been multiple reports of players not receiving any rewards at the end of a Decor Duel because they remained inactive in their hiding spot. If this is accurate, then this is clearly another miss on Blizzard's end, as Hiders should not be penalized for winning.

Update: In addition to the above-mentioned exploits, our readers have shared other unintended Decor Duel bugs, including Hiders being able to go completely out of bounds.
