Legion Assaults in Legion Remix
Legion Assaults
Legion Assaults are World Events in Legion Remix that rotate through each zone, where they are active for a period of 6 hours, followed by an 8.5-hour period of inactivity. After completing four World Quests during an active Legion Assault, players receive a quest for a short scenario to defeat the Legion Commander.
While Blizzard increased the cadence of these events, players can be stuck in queues for upwards of 20 minutes or more because there is no way for them to enter the final scenario of this Assault solo.
Incentivized Solo Play in Legion Remix
Legion Remix has incentivised solo play in several ways, and Blizzard has significantly streamlined many activities for players to complete at a rapid pace. However, Legion Assaults appear to have dodged this philosophy.
For some reason, Legion Assaults require a group of 3 players to enter the ending scenario, and completionists will want to do at least 10 of these for various achievements. While a premade group of 3 players can get into the scenario instantly, solo or duo players have to wait in the queue, and wait times have been shockingly long.
Should Blizzard Allow Solo Entry?
The solution appears to be an easy answer - if Blizzard wants players to be able to complete content quickly during this limited-time event, allow players to enter these scenarios alone. Many players feel like this content is currently soloable, and Blizzard has removed this barrier to entry for similar content in the past, such as with Island Expeditions.
Players who require a group because their Infinite Power is low should still have group capabilities, but those who just want to get in and out, or challenge themselves, would like the option to be able to solo this content.
What do you think? Should Blizzard allow players to attempt to solo this kind of content? Let us know your thoughts in the comments down below!
