TBC Anniversary Roadmap & Release Dates
MoP & TBC Classic Roadmap Comparison
Along with the TBC Anniversary roadmap, Blizzard also revealed a roadmap for MoP Classic. This showed a timeline with Phase 4 coming in Spring 2026 and Phase 5, which will see the release of the Siege of Orgrimmar raid, coming in Summer 2026. It was announced on March 16th that Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 4 would release on March 31st.
MoP Roadmap
Using the announcement date and release date from MoP Classic, there was about a two-week heads-up. This has been par for the course, as Classic Anniversary saw announcements and release dates spaced two to three weeks apart.
TBC Classic Anniversary Roadmap
As for the TBC Anniversary roadmap, Phase 2 was also listed for Spring 2026. While it's not a perfect comparison, the time between MoP Classic Phase 3 and Phase 4 was three months, so three months from the TBC Anniversary release would be May 5th. Thus, it's possible we won't receive news about a TBC Phase 2 launch until late April.
Community Prediction
ozzy_roy on r/classicwow has been quite accurate with his predictions. During Classic Anniversary, he was within days of some launches and even nailed them on the exact day on a few occasions. He then made some predictions for TBC Anniversary launches, guessing that Phase 1 would come on Tuesday, February 10th, lumping it with the release date of the game, but we later learned that the opening of Phase 1 raid content wouldn't come until two weeks later.
The latest projection has Phase 2 of TBC Anniversary landing on Tuesday, May 5th. This is about 16 weeks before Phase 3 is predicted to launch on August 25th, which is in line with the timeline, as it's not only Summer but also before BlizzCon 2026.
