Voidbound Affix Now Spawning Correctly in Mythic+

After a seemingly innocuous hotfix last night, it appears that Void Emissaries from Xal'atath's Bargain: Voidbound are no longer spawning correctly in Mythic+ keys! It feels like they've gone on strike, as the first Void Emissary will quickly despawn and no longer appear for the rest of the run.

Update: this issue appears to have been fixed.

Stopping by to update everyone that Voidbound Emissary should be spawning now. Good luck with your keys!

Normally, the Emissary should spawn periodically, with a long cast that will empower other enemies if its shield is not broken.

This is obviously a bug, having began after yesterday's hotfix, which was intended to prevent the affix from triggering during Rak'tul's intermission in Maisara Caverns. As such, we expect it to be fixed fairly soon.

Fixed an issue where Voidbound Emissary can spawn during Rak'tul's intermission on Mythic+ difficulty.

Whether this bug is good or bad... kind of depends. The new style of Xal'atath's Bargain affixes all use a kiss/curse format, such as Dark Prayer rewarding players for accomplishing a task or punishing them for failing. In this case, defeating the Void Emissary is typically pretty easy and rewards players with a Voidbinding buff granting +30% cooldown rate and +20% Versatility for 30 seconds. That's not an insignificant bonus, and often increases player power and clear speed by more than the additional target slows it down. As a result, this bug is probably more detrimental than anything else, even if its one less thing to think about during your key.
