Very Extended Maintenance for The Burning Crusade Classic

Blizzard has published a blue post explaining the reasons why the Classic maintenance has been extended until 10pm Pacific time.

No one on the WoW team that I’ve talked to this afternoon can remember a maintenance that took this long.

As part of Patch 11.2.5, Blizzard will adding 5 new character slots to all WoW accounts to ensure players can participate in the new Legion Remix event. Players will also be able to early convert Remix characters to live realms.
