Suggested Leveling Specialization
During the pre-patch, you can level your shaman with any of the three specializations: Enhancement, Elemental, and Restoration. That said, we recommend Enhancement, especially for solo questing.
Enhancement Shaman 1-70 Guide
With strong gear, such as preparing some of the items mentioned above, the Enhancement Shaman can dispose of mobs quickly, making leveling even faster.
Going down the Enhancement tree, we recommend you pick the following talents, and in this order:
Ancestral Knowledge: 5/5
Thundering Strikes: 5/5
Shamanistic Focus: 1/1
Improved Ghost Wolf: 2/2
Improved Lightning Shield: 2/3
Flurry: 5/5
Spirit Weapons: 1/1
Improved Lightning Shield: Add final point
Elemental Weapons: 3/3
Mental Quickness: 3/3
Weapon Mastery: 2/5
Dual Wield: 1/1
Stormstrike: 1/1
Dual Wield Specialization: 3/3

Unleashed Rage: 2/5
Shamanistic Rage: 1/1
Unleashed Rage: Add final three points
Next up, you'll go over to the Elemental tree:
Concussion: 5/5
Convection: 2/5
Here's what your talent tree should look like after you've slotted these points:
Recommended Enhancement Weapons and Armor
Leading up to the pre-patch, one of the best things you can do to set your new Draenei Shaman up for success is to prepare BoE items, such as weapons and armor, to put your character in the best position possible to kill mobs faster, and thus, level faster.
Below are some that you can prepare. For a more in-depth guide, check out this spreadsheet created by Bitt's Guide.
