Take Advantage of Mark of the Illidari for Free Raid Consumables

With the arrival of Phase 3 of TBC Anniversary, players will have a new "currency" to consider: Mark of the Illidari.

TBC Anniversary Phase 3 Guide

Players will be able to loot and collect Marks of the Illidari from trash mobs in Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep, Hyjal Summit, Black Temple, and in the future, Sunwell Plateau.

What to Spend Marks of the Illidari On

After receiving Marks of the Illidari, players will be able to redeem these in Shattrath City with Arcanist Xorith (The Scryers) or Haldor the Compulsive (The Aldor) once you reach Exalted with The Sha'tar, Cenarion Expedition, and Aldor/Scryer (whichever you're affiliated with).

When you reach Exalted with those factions and have collected a Mark of the Illidari, you'll be able to redeem them for the following items.

Flasks

The following BOP flasks can only be used inside Tempest Keep, Serpentshrine Cavern, Mount Hyjal, Black Temple, and Sunwell Plateau.

Shattrath Flask of Fortification

Shattrath Flask of Mighty Restoration

Shattrath Flask of Supreme Power

Shattrath Flask of Relentless Assault

Shattrath Flask of Pure Death

Shattrath Flask of Blinding Light

These flasks are identical to the BOE versions — Flask of Fortification, Flask of Mighty Restoration, Flask of Supreme Power, Flask of Relentless Assault, Flask of Pure Death, and Flask of Blinding Light — but instead of spending gold on the BOE options, you can collected Marks of the Illidari and receive "free" raid consumables.

Potions

Ahead of TBC Anniversary Phase 3, Blizzard made a change that has never been seen in TBC before: allowing players to redeem Marks of the Illidari for two DPS-increasing potions:

Haste Potion x10

Destruction Potion x10

Destruction Potions will increase casters' critical strike rating by 2% and their spell damage by 120 for 15 seconds. Haste Potions will increase the player's haste rating by 400 for 15 seconds. These will be the best use of your potion cooldown to maximize damage on boss encounters.

Before this change from Blizzard, Destruction Potions and Haste Potions were quite pricey on all realms. With this change, they've become extremely accessible to all players, helping them increase their DPS.
