Soul Cinders Will Upgrade Legendaries to Rank 5 and 6 in Patch 9.1 – Soul Ash Will Continue to Drop
In his interview with Preach, Game Director Ion Hazzikostas confirmed that Soul Cinders (previously called Mega Soul Ash) will be used to upgrade legendaries to rank 5 and 6 in Patch 9.1. While Soul Cinders will only drop from layers 9-12, regular Soul Ash will also continue to be awarded based on your highest layer completion, so that players will receive both currencies from one run.
