PvP Flagging Bugfixes Incoming – The Burning Crusade Anniversary

Blizzard has announced that they are working on a fix for how PvP flagging works in instanced PvE content on The Burning Crusade Anniversary servers. After the weekly maintenance on March 10th, players should be able to cast buffs and AoE spells on their raid and party members, regardless of their PvP status.

Runed Arcanite Rod Formula Fix

We’ve been steadily working to fix some issues with PvP flagging in Burning Crusade Classic. Our goals are:

Players in PvE instances (dungeons, raids, and scenarios) should be able to cast helpful AoE spells on their party members regardless of their PvP flagging state.

Players should not have their flag state incorrectly change when entering instances or crossing zone boundaries.

On both Normal and PvP realms, flagging should behave as it did in original World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade.

We’ve got hotfixes for these issues in testing, and we intend to implement the fixes with scheduled weekly maintenance on March 10.

Thank you!
