Responding to concerns that Oceanic realms now appear to share a Battle Group with American servers, resulting in considerable latency when playing against teams on the other side of the world, Blizzard has confirmed that it was a deliberate change in order to achieve better PvP matchmaking and queue times during the Burning Crusade Classic.
