Fanta & Xbox 25th Anniversary Collaboration - USFanta Collaboration - EU (Coming Soon)
Limited World of Warcraft Collaboration Prizes
Starting today, players can scan to play themed interactive challenges on mobile each week to earn in-game WoW rewards like the 'Fanta'-stical Goblin Waveshredder mount or new exclusive decor. However, based on Fanta's official promotion rules quantities of the WoW Rewards are incredibly limited.
For each week of the 17 week promotion, only 2,392 of each of the WoW rewards is available. That means only a little over 40,000 of the mounts will be available for participants in each region over the entire promotion. In stark contrast, rewards from other games have a significantly larger availability with over 113,000 each week including the Citron Whirl Portal from Diablo 4 (nearly 2 million for the full promotion).
There are a few major upsides of the promotion. No purchase is necessary to participate and the promotion is expected to be available worldwide (though the one linked above is strictly for US); players will need to link their Battle.net account to obtain rewards. Rewards being tied to Battle.net accounts should restrict multiple redemptions for the same item and prevent reselling.
Having such limited availability of rewards will be a major disappointment for WoW players and will likely increase the growing frustration over limited promotions. Whether low availability, region-locking, or rising purchase costs, promotion fatigue has definitely set in for WoW players.
While Blizzard has confirmed that limited promotion mounts will eventually be added to future Trading Posts, there's been no indication if pets, decor, transmog, or other rewards would be given the same treatment. In particular, Decor is not available from the Trading Post and obtaining multiple copies requires a separate vendor, so a new avenue for mass availability would likely need to be explored.
Reward Models
The WoW rewards feature the iconic orange and blue color scheme of Fanta both with the Fantastical Goblin Waveshredder mount and the the corked bottles. Put the mystery liquid on ice and keep it cool in your very own ice chest.

Fanta & Xbox Anniversary Collaboration
As part of the Xbox's 25th anniversary celebration starting in April, players will be able to purchase special-edition Fanta products with iconic Xbox franchise characters include Xal'atath for WoW or the new Paladin for Diablo 4. Scan the QR code and access new Xbox-themed challenges.
Upon completion of these challenges, fans will be entered to win prizes like ROG Xbox Ally, Xbox Series S – 1TB, Xbox Wireless Controller and more including in-game rewards:
World of Warcraft – Fantastical Goblin Waveshredder Mount and more WoW rewards
Diablo IV – Citron Whirl Town Portal
The collaboration collection will be available starting in April at retailers worldwide and online while supplies last, so grab a can, scan the code, and get ready to play.
Diablo 4 Rewards & Fan Experience
For Diablo 4, players will be able to earn the Citron Whirl Town Portal as part of the in-game promotion. While the promotion image shows 5 portals in total, we suspect that only the orange variant will be available as it most closely matches the Fanta brand.
Additionally, Xbox did announce an exclusive Diablo 4 interactive experience as part of the Fanta and Xbox collaboration. Sanctuary has invaded the AMC at The Grove in Los Angeles from May 22–25. Attendees will be confronted by the Prime Evil Mephisto himself with the opportunity to unlock the Fanta rewards chest.
Prizes for the event include:
A BlizzCon experience in Anaheim, California
A prize package featuring an Xbox Series S console, Xbox Wireless Controllers, and more
A ROG Xbox Ally
Downloadable game codes
