Player Housing Overview
From datamining the game, the Patch 12.1 PTR contains two new lines in the House Exterior files. These were named 12PHShop_Fall_EFA01 and 12PHShop_Fall_EFA02, leading to many players speculating that the next Player Housing Exterior would come from the Shop and costs real dollars.
Blizzard has now clarified that this is not the came and the future exterior will not be released in the Shop and will be available to earn in the game.
Hello! This is a really good example of how initial datamining can be a bit misleading. While yes, there is a new exterior coming (and probably more in the future), the particular exterior found in PTR files will not be released in the Shop. It will be available for players to earn within the game.
