We have datamined a new cutscene leading into the Vault of the Incarnates story, explaining why we enter the raid. Story spoilers.

In this cutscene, Alexstrasza goes to recharge the oathstone to fully regain the powers of the Aspects--but is puzzled why this fails. Until Raszageth shows up, proclaiming that the Aspects proved themselves unworthy of these powers on their own and now a new age is here--the Age of the Incarnates.

Holiday Fan Art Calendar Contest – Deadline Extension

Due to technical issues that prevented us from properly receiving Holiday Fan Art Calendar Contest submissions from Europe and Korea, we have extended the deadline for all entries until 11:59 PM PST, March 15. Players in every participating region will now have until this date to submit their original holiday-inspired, Warcraft-themed artwork for a chance to see their piece appear in the 2011 Official World of Warcraft Calendar! Check out the official rules or visit the contest website for more information.
