Manaforge Omega Race to World First Day 5 Recap – Mid Tier Wall and Future Tuning

Dratnos and Tettles are back with another series of Race to World First Daily Recap videos!

These videos will be recorded daily after Liquid finishes raiding, meaning they should be released around 2am Pacific Time, near the start of the European guilds' day.

Forgeweaver Araz is another boss in the vein of Stix Bunkjunker - a massively difficult 4th boss that is close to 100 than 1 pull for the Race to World First guilds - at least for Liquid, who spent all day on the encounter. There was a set of nerfs that landed on the fight midway through the day, with the boss losing 5% health and the Arcane Echo adds losing 40%! Before that nerf, the strategy looked very degenerate, with three tanks looking optimal and hundreds of pulls likely to squeeze the required damage. Even post-nerf, the fight is technically intensive and also features a nasty bullet hell and a lot of optimization potential.

It's great fun to watch for the Race, and we expect it may serve as the great equalizer between the Race to World First competitors, with Echo and Method potentially in position to capitalize on Liquid's time spent fighting the pre-nerf version plus the benefits of analyzing their strategy and synthesizing the best ideas from their own planning with the real-world experience of Liquid.
