July 21st Hotfixes – PvP Tuning & Decor Duels

Blizzard has updated their hotfixes notes with PvP tuning changes and adjustments to make Decor Duel more favorable for hiders!

This follows the news earlier today, that Decor Duels would no longer be available in Patch 12.1, but players can earn double currency until the season ends.

July 21, 2026

Decor Duel

The last 30 seconds of a Decor Duel match no longer auto-reveals remaining hiders.

The rate of energy increase for seekers is slowed by 20%.

Hiders no longer attract flies.

Illusionary Coins rewards increased by 100%.

Player versus Player

Demon Hunter

Developers’ notes: Both Devourer and Havoc Demon Hunters have been more difficult to land kills against than intended. We’re reducing the potency of shared mitigation effects that are contributing to their survival.

Demon Muzzle now reduces magic damage taken by 5% in PvP combat (was 15%).

Glimpse now reduces damage taken by 25% (was 35%) while airborne after using Vengeful Retreat.

Monk

Mistweaver

Developers’ notes: We’re reducing Mistweavers’ ability to heal versus clumped targets in PvP since they’ve been outputting more healing than we’d like against pet classes.

Way of the Crane now transfers 100% of Spinning Crane Kick’s damage into healing in PvP Combat (was 340%).

Priest

Discipline

Healing of all spells increased by 3% in PvP combat.

Holy

Developers’ notes: We’re increasing overall healing and providing an opportunity for Holy Priests to contribute offensively to secure kills with their team.

Holy Fire direct damage increased by 15%.

Holy Fire periodic damage increased by 27%.

All healing increased by 3%.

Shaman

Restoration

Developers’ notes: Restoration Shaman healing performance has been slightly behind other healers in PvP, so we’re targeting an increase to their instant healing capabilities.

Riptide healing increased by 15% in PvP combat.

Quests

Dawnwell questgivers should now correctly be in place to turn in the quest “From Darkness, Light” and should stick around until the player has picked up “Hagar’s Invitation”.
