Smaller Changes We'd Like to See in Classic+
There are so many unfinished zones on the original map of Azeroth, and today, we're going to explore a few zones on the northern coast of the Eastern Kingdoms that could make an appearance in the next iteration of Classic.
Quel'thalas
While not as fleshed out as its Burning Crusade counterpart, players can swim along the northern coast of Tirisfal Glades to the east to make their way to the Vanilla version of Quel'thalas.

As you can see, the original zone of Quel'thalas was nothing more than a few elven ruins, trees, and a dock along the coast. In The Burning Crusade, this was, of course, developed into the two Blood Elf leveling zones of Eversong Woods and The Ghostlands. Again, in the current Midnight expansion, these zones have been combined into a larger Eversong Woods zone with Zul'Aman also becoming a separate zone, rather than a raid.
If Blizzard decides to include Blood Elves as a race for the Horde in Classic+, these zones could easily serve as the starting point for a proper Quel'thalas zone, especially if they are connected to the continent of the Eastern Kingdoms, as they are in Retail. Other highly-voted content from the Classic+ Project website that players would like to see in Quel'thalas include:
Quel'thalas based on Warcraft III, rather than The Burning Crusade
A new Deatholme dungeon
Sunwell raid
Silvermoon City raid
Zul'Aman raid from TBC
Northern Lordaeron
The original Vanilla zone, described as Quel'thalas, is not selectable on the in-game map, similar to other unfinished zones, like Hyjal. This small strip of coastal land to the northwest of Eastern Plaguelands is what some out-of-bounds explorers refer to as Northern Lordaeron.
As a part of the Looking for Group Documentary, Jeff Kaplan explains that this area was originally meant to be developed into the entrace for a Dragon Isles raid, which never made it into production. However, fan-made designer u/ChromedDragon shared their vision for what they think Northern Lordaeron in Classic+ could look like.

Enemies in this zone are on-theme with those in the surrounding Plaguelands - Scourge and the Scarlet Crusade. While this map was made prior to Season of Discovery, it's obvious that players have wanted a Scarlet-themed raid in World of Warcraft for the longest time. Perhaps Blizzard will re-introduce the Scarlet Enclave raid into Classic+ as well.
