The Catalyst converts any normal piece of armor into its equivalent set item, at the cost of a Catalyst charge. Players earn an additional Catalyst charge every two weeks of the season.
This week brings players their fourth Catalyst charge when combined with the Midnight Season 1: Champion of the Dawn, meaning players can earn their 4-piece tier set bonus guaranteed! This involves either reaching 2,000 Mythic+ rating, earning 1,600 PvP rating, or defeating March on Quel'Danas on Heroic difficulty. Now, players can completely bypass needing any random drops from raid or dungeons.
Players can spend their Catalyst charges at the Matrix Catalyst in Silvermoon City.
Earning your 4-piece bonus rewards the Midnight Season 1: Catalyst Unbound achievement. This achievement allows Crystallized Dawnlight Manaflux to drop from dungeons, delves, PvP, and raid content. Because of this, spending your Catalyst charges as soon as possible is strongly recommended, even on lower-track Prey/Delve gear.
Future Catalyst charges can be used to convert higher upgrade-track gear or to start earning transmog for the Tier Set armor sets.

Additional Radiant Spark
Each week, players can earn a Spark of Radiance from completing Unity Against the Void or the PvP Sparks of War quest from Zerella. This is the eighth possible Radiant Spark players can earn if they have already received the additional Spark from completing Midnight: World Tour. This allows players to craft their fourth endgame item, or third if they crafted a two-handed weapon. Most endgame crafted items cost two Radiant Sparks.
