Former World of Warcraft and Overwatch Game Director Jeff Kaplan announced his departure from Blizzard Entertainment today. In nearly 20 years at Blizzard Entertainment, Kaplan worked on both Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and World of Warcraft as a Game Designer, eventually being promoted to Game Director. During the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, in 2009, Kaplan announced he was leaving the WoW team to work on a then unannounced project.
