A more traditional Weekly Quest for Sparks has been hotfixed onto live servers.
The reward is not previewed, but we can confirm that completing the quest awards a new spark this week.
If you aren't into PvP, don't fret, the quest can be completed quite easily simply by completing world quests or looting treasures, though unlike similar quests of the past, rare mobs do not appear to contribute this time around. While it will take some time, it isn't exactly challenging.
War Mode must be enabled to gain progress.
Killing other players gives 1 progress.
Each repeatable treasure gives 5 progress, though does not include one-time lootables.
Each completed world quest gives 10 progress, though does not include prey or special assignment quests.
Players who really abhor even the idea of turning on War Mode can simply wait until next week, as the spark should then be obtained by completing max-level content such as Delves, Mythic+ dungeons, raids, or outdoor events through the catch up system.
Look for Stashed Singularity Supplies throughout the Voidstorm.
While the currency tab tracks sparks earned this season, it does not include the extra gained from Midnight: World Tour, so the 2/2 Season Maximum in this case is actually a total of 3.
