Diablo II: Resurrected Patch 10.5 – Support for Non-AVX Processors
Blizzard has released Diablo II: Resurrected Patch 10.5, adding non-Advanced Vector Extension support to allow computers with processors that do not support AVX instructions to once again run the game. We previously covered the issue after it was discovered that many players who had no trouble accessing the Beta were unable to play the live game, with Blizzard acknowledging that an optimization update unintentionally resulted in requiring AVX.
