Potential Arena NPC Found in WoW: Forever
The Riverglades is a new zone in WoW: Forever and comes with a neutral Goblin hub: Powderfuse Port. This new area has an NPC, Jazzle Cheapshot, who potentially hints that an Arena will be added later in the game.
Now, this same type of small caged arena is something we've also seen in Gadgetzan in Tanaris, and that "arena" was even used for a Warrior quest for one of their runes in SoD. So although it may just be there for design or could be used for a quest, the final text from Jazzle Cheapshot, "Come back when I get this place up and runnin'," seems to hint that this makeshift cage could be used for something more later on. It could just mean come back when you're at an appropriate level for a Ring of Blood-style quest chain, but would Blizzard add text just for players who are low level when getting to this zone?
Perhaps the actual caged arena is not the Arena itself, but just symbolic of an Arena, and Jazzle Cheapshot is the person you talk to to queue up for an Arena, similar to how it started in The Burning Crusade. In TBC, Goblins are always the ones you talk to to queue up for Arenas, so it would make sense for this NPC to potentially be one of them as well.
For now, players will have to wait and see until WoW: Forever actually launches - but in the meantime, it can't hurt to have some duels here!
