For many players, half the fun in an ARPG is min-maxing your damage - finding the most overpowered way to cut through monsters and find legendary loot the fastest. The challenge, however, is that there are remarkably few in-game tools to allow you to calculate just how much damage your skills do at any given time. Adding in frequent gear changes, and you basically need a spreadsheet to keep track - or a community made program.
