Bonus Roll Loot Table Changes in The Venomous Abyss Raid

In hotfixes pushed to live servers, Blizzard has changed the loot tables for Bonus Rolls for certain spec's which may change your bonus roll priority.

Bonus Rolls

While bonus rolls aren't available yet, they will become available starting on August 25th, from the Great Vault. As these are very powerful, and raid drops much higher item level gear from them, many strategies have started to form around their inclusion in the start of the Season. Players have started to discuss what bosses they would like to Bonus Roll, which also affects what players are crafting, and also how guilds will reward loot to players.

One of the most important things regarding Bonus Rolls is the loot table of the thing you are rolling for, and Blizzard has changed some of these loot tables in a recent hotfix.

Zul'jin's Guillotine Technique

The Zul'jin's Guillotine Technique is a trinket that drops off the penultimate boss in the raid. As such, on Mythic difficulty, this drops at Myth 9/6 item level, and was previously only available to bonus roll for DPS, but some tanks wanted this for a damage trinket. This trinket seems to be very good for Protection Warriors and Protection Paladins, but less so for other tanks.

This trinket has now been added to the loot table of all tank specs:

Blood Death Knight

Vengeance Demon Hunter

Guardian Druid

Brewmaster Monk

Protection Paladin

Protection Warrior

If you were planning on Bonus Rolling this boss in the future, make sure to consider your new odds.

Maze-roa, Warlord's Fury

The Maze-roa, Warlord's Fury is a 2-Handed weapon that also drops from the penultimate boss in the raid and on Mythic drops at Myth 9/6 item level. This was not previously part of the bonus roll loot table for Survival Hunters, but has now been added.

This weapon has now been added to the loot table of Survival Hunter.
