Blizzard Reduces Requirements to Enter Heroic World Tier – Midnight: Revelations PTR

Blizzard has made an update to the Midnight: Revelations PTR, which no longer requires players to defeat a World Boss before entering Heroic World Tier in the upcoming Val and Naigtal zones. Now, any character who is level 90 may select the Heroic World Tier difficulty immediately.

Midnight Patch 12.0.7 Overview

In addition, Blizzard has added catch-up mechanics for players looking to complete the Knocking Off the Top quest. This quest offer a Myth track piece of gear after 4 weeks and now if a player falls behind, there will be Weekly quests available to get caught up. This likely ensures that players who miss a week aren’t permanently behind on the quest.

Heroic World Tier

We have removed the requirement to kill either of the World Bosses to enter Heroic World Tier.

Players who are level 90 can select it from the start and complete the introduction quests in Heroic World Tier.

Knocking Off the Top (Heroic)

This quest requires each character to obtain a quest item from either World Boss in Heroic each week (4 weeks to complete).

If you fall behind, the weekly quests for the zones will offer the quest item as catch up.
