Blizzard Confirms Binding Shot Nerf is Intentional – Consistency With Other Root Effects
Blizzard has confirmed that the Dragonflight nerf to Binding Shot to make it break with damage is intentional.
Binding Shot was originally nerfed in Patch 9.1.5 but was reverted shortly thereafter.
The change to Binding Shot’s root to break from damage is intentional, and there’s some history with this ability.
