Earlier this week, Blizzard announced restrictions for new accounts and their characters on Season of Discovery realms. In the official forums, Senior Game Producer Tom Ellis has commented on the change, clarifying that new players will still be eligible to receive items and gold from helping friends - just not trade them away through mail, trading, or the Auction House.
