Auction House Temporarily Throttled: AddOns Likely Affected

Senior Game Producer Tom Ellis put out a statement on X, formerly Twitter, announcing that the Auction House has been temporarily throttled as a way to fix lag and performance issues.

Throughout time, there have been a variety of AddOns designed to automate the functions of the in-game Auction House. This can cause a high amount of traffic sent to the system all at once, causing freezes and slow-downs as a result.
