Players would first find a new NPC in front of capital cities, offering unique consumables such as fireworks, a scroll that increases your and others' speed around you, and a potion that increases experience gained by 200%.
Players would also find world bosses in starting zones, ranging from Azuregos, "Super" Hogger, Voracious, Thunderaan, and Lord Kazzak!
Voracious
Super Hogger
Thunderaan
Azuregos
Defeating these world bosses gave players some familiar and powerful legendaries, including Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros, and Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker!
Along with getting these legendaries, players could also farm full Classic Tier 1 set bonuses and Molten Core weapons from mobs in every starter zone.
But it appears all of that wasn't enough, as Blizzard decided to re-release the contaminated boxes from the Wrath of the Lich King Scourge Event back in 2008, spreading the Scourge plague across Azeroth!
The WoW: Forever beta was a massive success, and players can't wait to jump back into Azeroth on November 4th. We'll see what other surprises are in store for us at launch!
