The Great Gnomeregan Run holiday is a reference to the Running of the Gnomes charity event. Every year, players make pink-haired gnomes and race from their starting area in Gnomeregan, through the tram in Ironforge, all the way down to Booty Bay to raise money for Breast Cancer.
The event gained an official holiday and gnomes who complete the The Great Gnomeregan Run will get the brand new Gnomatic Projector toy. The Great Gnomeregan Run holiday runs from now until Sunday at 11:59 PM Pacific Time in NA.
Great Gnomeregan Run
To get the Gnomatic Projector toy, you must be on a Gnome character. Other races can accept the quest, but they will not get the rewards. If you do create a Gnome character, there's a portal from the spawn-in area, to the starting line. Go to the starting line in New Tinkertown and find Mina Gleespanner, who will give you the The Great Gnomeregan Run quest.
/way #469 36.6 36.2 Mina Gleespanner
Once you have the quest, get to Booty Bay while hitting at least 32 of the 33 checkpoints on the way there. The layout run will take you into Ironforge, through the Deepram Tram, Stormwind and Duskwood, and end in Booty Bay. Characters can use mounts and flying mounts to get the quest done faster if you wish.
Congratulations on getting your brand new toy!
