Midnight Season 2 Mythic+ Guide
Before the first boss of Murder Row, players must interrogate four Row Snitches to open up the path to the boss. In the building with the first snitch on the right, players can find a glowing Faceted Crystalline Fel crystal.
Pay close attention when looking for these crystals!
The vendors of Murder Row have a particular interest in these crystals, willing to trade you powerful items in exchange for one. There are many different vendors, each offering a unique Extra Action item:
Darlia - Heartstop Blade: Strike with a poisoned blade, reducing the victim's maximum health by 30% and stunning them for 6 sec. 3 charges. Ineffective on creatures that are a higher level than you.
Feranin - Felwyrm Egg: Summons a fel-infused mana wyrm to strike at your enemies and empower you with destructive energy, increasing your haste by 15% for 30 sec.
Vinemaster Suntouched - Suntouched Special Reserve: Drink the brew, increasing damage and healing by 2% for 30 sec. This effect stacks. Be careful not to drink too much or you will unleash misery upon yourself and those around you.
Sleyin - Concealed Pistol: Fires a quick shot at the target, inflicting Physical damage to all enemies it passes through and additional Bleed damage every 2 sec for 16 sec. While bleeding, enemies take 20% increased damage.
These items can be used at any time throughout the dungeon, but can only be purchased once, meaning no stacking the same item.
Our item of interest is the Concealed Pistol, largely because of the 20% increased damage debuff it places on enemies that lasts 16 seconds. This item is purchased from Sleyin, who is located off to the right side just before the first boss. When used, the pistol shoots in a straight line, debuffing any enemy hit by the pistol. You will need to have an enemy targeted to use the pistol, so if you're using the pistol in a large pack, make sure to pick the most centralized target!
There are a few different spots this item could be useful, but one of the best spots is during Kystia Manaheart's damage amp. Destabilized causes Kystia to take 115% increased damage for 20 seconds. Most groups are already saving large cooldowns to burst her down during this phase. Causing Kystia to take even more damage during this phase helps defeat her in one cycle of Destabilized, saving a large chunk of time in Mythic+ instead of having to bring down Nibbles for a second time.
