The Venomous Abyss Race to World First Coverage
The sentinels are truly terrifying opponents, asking players to split, dodge, soak, and do basic math. Despite sounding simple, it requires a surprising amount of damage efficiency to beat its enrage timer, which even took Liquid a few attempts and very low percent wipes to to figure out.
While the numbers mechanic turns invisible on Mythic difficulty, the group used a surprisingly simple strategy to handle it: by having all the twos clear under the boss and ones remain jumping in place, so that the threes could then find them.
Group Composition
2 Tanks: Blood Death Knight, Guardian Druid
4 Healers: 2 Preservation Evokers, Holy Paladin, Discipline Priest
5 Melee: Unholy Death Knight, Windwalker Monk, Subtlety Rogue, 2 Arms Warriors
9 Ranged: Devourer Demon Hunter, Balance Druid, Devastation Evoker, 2 Marksmanship Hunters, Arcane Mage, Frost Mage, Elemental Shaman, Destruction Warlock
