Project Camelot Found on China’s Vendor Server

Dataminers have just confirmed that Project Camelot has become available on China's Vendor server. Over a year ago, NetEase announced that China and the Western audience would be experiencing Classic+ at the same time. Could this first vendor build indicate that NetEase is starting to work on localization for the Chinese audience?

While clues about the existence of Classic+ continue to pile up, one key moment occurred during this year's State of Azeroth presentation. During the infamous "Holly, no!" clip, Executive Producer & Vice President for World of Warcraft, Holly Longdale, starts by saying that "all Classic players across the globe have a lot to look forward to."

This seems to confirm what NetEase said over a year ago: that Classic+ would be experienced by the West and Chinese audiences simultaneously. While there is still no information about the next iteration of Classic, we're looking forward to BlizzCon on September 12th, where we expect more details to be revealed.
