Things to Do to Prepare for Patch 12.1

Here are a couple of things that you can do to prepare for Patch 12.1 next week!

Curse of Ula'tek Campaign

The first thing that you can do this week to prepare for Patch 12.1 is completing the first chapter of the Patch 12.1 campaign.

The Coiled Isle Zone

Right now, you can start and complete The Legacy of the Amani step of the Curse of Ula'tek campaign. This chain begins with Hagar's Invitation which starts in the center of Silvermoon City, and is a requirement to unlock Chapter 2 which unlocks the Coiled Isle in Patch 12.1.

Omnium Folio

The Omnium Folio is lasting all of Midnight, which means you should make sure to have it complete now to make sure that your character has all the power going into next Season!

Omnium Folio Guide

All steps and unlocks for the Omnium Folio are now available, and need to be unlocked. The starting quest, The Magisters' Call, is found from a floating Magister's Missive near the Ritual Site vendors in Silvermoon City, and all the traits unlock after completing 5 more quests.

Upgrade Your Gear

While Season 2 doesn't begin until August 18th, Patch 12.1 goes live a week earlier on August 11th. Based on previous season ends, when the Patch goes live, it's likely that Season 1 will officially end, removing all the upgrade tracks on Season 1 gear, locking it in at that item level. This means that if you have a Hero 4/6 piece and crests now, you should make sure to upgrade that piece before the Patch goes live next week.

Item Upgrades

If you have alts that you want to have ready for the new content, make sure to get any upgrades you definitely want this week if you want to be safe.
