Midsummer Fire Festival Guide
The Sun Festival's Painted Roc is a brand new mount from this year's Midsummer Fire Festival which drops from the Frost Lord Ahune. Upon queuing into the event, players can defeat Ahune to receive a Satchel of Chilled Goods. Special loot such as transmogs, and the mount only have a chance to drop from the first looted bag every day across your Warband. This makes it a holiday RNG mount, which typically frustrates collectors as they have limited time to get their mount before the holiday ends.
However, players have found out that this bag's daily lockout is when you loot something from the bag. This means that if you open and look inside the bag, and then don't loot anything from it, you can log over to another character and repeat it until you find the bag that you want to loot from. In order to check the bag without looting, you can either turn off auto-loot in the options or shift-click the bag with auto-loot on.
Once you find an item that you want, loot the bag and come back tomorrow. Once a bag is looted, all other bags will just contain Burning Blossom.
