The World's Deadliest Quills
One of the most difficult parts of this boss fight is Fetid Quillstorm. For this mechanic, Nekraxx targets a player, dashes towards them, and begins casting Fetid Quillstorm. While casting, there is a large green circle that players will need to dodge. After the cast goes off, several smaller quills spawn nearby that players will also need to dodge.
Players will need to dodge the smaller quills throughout the fight.
With the combination of Freezing Traps, Icy Slick, and the sheer amount and randomness of the small quills that spawn, this mechanic can be difficult to dodge. In lower keystones, getting hit by quills and then being targeted by Barrage can cause a player's death. In higher keystone levels, the small quills basically one-shot any player who gets hit.
These quills are deadly, and dodging them is crucial to your success during this fight.
Dodging Fetid Quillstorm
Fetid Quillstorm occurs after Muro'jin tosses his Freezing Traps. After Freezing Traps go out, players will want to move away from them and prepare for Fetid Quillstorm.
The small quills do not spawn underneath Nekraxx after the circle, so once the large circle disappears, move to where Nekraxx is casting. This guarantees that you will not get hit by any quills.
Barrage occurs shortly after Fetid Quillstorm, so remember to spread from other players after dodging!
