Cracked Keystone Quest Rewards Finally Hotfixed – 30 Crests Awarded on Log-in

On Week 1 of Season 3, many players ran Delves to obtain the Cracked Keystone quest - A quest that requires completion of a Mythic+ key at any difficulty, with the reward being 15 Runed Ethereal Crest and 15 Gilded Ethereal Crest, a very valuable boost early on in the season.

However, the rewards for this quest were determined by when you turned it in:

Some players received these crests, and they did count towards the seasonal cap;

Some players received crests that did not count towards the seasonal cap;

And some more unfortunate players turned in the quest while being crest capped (a very easy mistake to make as the quest is auto-completed) and received nothing for it.

The quest itself was hotfixed relatively early on in Season 3, rewarding 15 Runed and 15 Gilded crests that did not count towards the seasonal/weekly Crest cap. Unforunately, players who were turned in the quest early were still permanently behind by 15 Runed/Gilded crests.

With a hotfix released today, the less fortunate players are finally being compensated, receiving their 30 crests upon logging in to the game! If your character was affecte by this bug, you will receive these crests even if you're already crest capped for the week, and it will not count towards the seasonal Crest cap.

With this fix, all players who have completed this quest should once again be on equal footing when it comes to the current seasonal and weekly Crest caps.
