Serpentshrine Cavern Attunement Guide
This attunement process assumes that the character has completed the prerequisite attunements from Phase 1, including:
Completed the Karazhan Attunement.
Reached Honored with The Violet Eye.
Unlocked Coilfang Reservoir Heroic Dungeons by reaching Revered with Cenarion Expedition.
After completing the above three objectives, players will be able to enter The Slave Pens on Heroic mode, and accept the quest The Cudgel of Kar'desh from Skar'this the Heretic, just past the first boss of the dungeon. This quest will require players to acquire two items - Earthen Signet and Blazing Signet.
The Earthern Signet is the most straightforward item to acquire, as it is guaranteed to drop from Gruul the Dragonkiller in Gruul's Lair, and this raid requires no attunement to enter.
To acquire the Blazing Signet, players will need to enter Karazhan and defeat Nightbane. This boss requires one person in the party to have the Blackened Urn in order to summon. After obtaining both the Earthen Signet and the Blazing Signet, players can return to Skar'this the Heretic inside Heroic Slave Pens to turn in the quest. Once completed, Skar'this the Heretic will cast The Mark of Vashj on the player, granting access to enter Serpentshrine Cavern!
