(Hotfixed) Purchase Discount Twilight Ascension Transmog Using Alts During the Pre-Patch Event

The Midnight Pre-Patch event offers players the opportunity to acquire catch-up gear for 0 Twilight's Blade Insignia each, but alts can acquire lower level versions with the same appearances at a huge discount!

A hotfix has reduced the Epic gear to 20 Twilight's Blade Insignia (was 40)

Interestingly, the items do have different ids, though their appearances are exactly the same.

So, if you're only interested in collecting the appearance for transmog, rather than the actual catch-up gear itself, visit Armorer Kalinovan on any non-max level alt for only 0 Twilight's Blade Insignia instead! Keep in mind that these appearances can also be acquired as Warbound gear randomly dropped from rares in the area, so consider waiting to purchase transmog until after completing Two Minutes to Midnight and collecting everything else the event has to offer.

Twilight Ascension - Midnight Pre-Patch Overview

Starting the Midnight pre-patch event is quite easy, with a simple lead-in quest from Stormwind or Orgrimmar teleporting you to the Twilight Highlands. Upon completing Cult It Out, yiou'll be able to farm Twilight's Blade Insignia from weekly quests, world quests, and rare mobs.
