Honor Gains Have Been Increased to 150% – The Burning Crusade Anniversary

To help players gear even faster during The Burning Crusade pre-patch, Blizzard has increased Honor gains by 150%! Originally, Blizzard planned on adjusting the price of individual gear pieces, but since players have already spent Honor on PvP gear, Blizzard decided that increasing Honor gains instead would be more fair.

TBC Classic Pre-Patch Overview

As we previously indicated, soon after launching the Burning Crusade pre-expansion patch, we could see that PvP needed an additional increase in rate of gearing. Since some players have already purchased gear, we decided to make the following changes:

The current active increase to Honor gains is now 150% (was 100%).

Added level 51-60 versions of the “For Great Honor” (Horde) and “Concerted Effort” (Alliance) quests.

These quests award 400 honor (at level 60) when handed in, as well as experience for players from levels 51-59. Please note that lower-level characters receive less Honor than higher-level characters, with the Honor reward increasing at each level. When the Dark Portal opens, these quests will no longer be available, and the level 61-70 versions of these quests will become available.

The changes above are now live on all Burning Crusade realms.
