While the rest of the level up raid is providing adequate experience in the 5 digit range for all other bosses, the Gnome leader isn't quite up to the task. Killing Mekgineer Thermaplugg rewards a whopping 101 experience for your trouble. Speaking from experience as well, turning in Thermaplugg's Engineering Notes provides no experience, so players looking for speed and efficiency may just want to skip the final boss, he can keep the Gnomish homeland.
